Do you also act as MC?
Absolutely...start to finish! In addition to my DJ duties (planning, playing, and programming your music), I will also act as your full service "Master of Ceremonies". I will plan for, coordinate, and carry out all of the functions necessary, to move your reception along. I will facilitate the introductions, cake cutting, and bouquet/garter toss, according to your wishes, and your timeline.
Do you offer a guarantee?
I guarantee, in writing, your complete satisfaction with my service and performance, or your money back.
Are you licensed and insured?
Many venues require proof of insurance from visiting entertainers. I am fully licensed and insured to operate my business in the state of Florida.
Should I hire a single operator DJ?
There are many large DJ companies to choose from, but none of them can match the personal, one on one service offered by the single operator DJ. In dealing with the owner directly, maximum attention is focused on you, the client, and the all important relationship with "your" DJ/MC is developed right from the start.
Will you consult with other vendors?
Yes. I will contact the venue in advance of your date, to confirm and coordinate my arrival time, start time, etc. I will also work closely with the caterers and photographers , before and during the reception, to make sure that we are all on the same page.
Will you arrive at the venue early?
As a rule, I schedule myself to arrive 3 hours before my start time. Although this is more time than I actually need to set up, it provides some flexibility, in case of unforeseen circumstances, and allows extra time to check in with the other vendors.
What type of attire will you wear?
The outfit of choice is usually my Tuxedo. However, if you would prefer that I wear something more casual, or theme based, I would be happy to oblige.
What type of sound system do you use?
My state of the art, professional Bose Tower sound system is as easy on the eyes as it is on the ears! Touted as possibly the finest professional loudspeaker system on the planet, this elegant looking unit produces a tonal quality of incredible clarity and brilliance! The introductions, toasts, announcements, and music will be heard clearly by everyone, without the annoying distortion and feedback associated with so many lesser systems. Paired with my Apple iPad, pre loaded with your custom playlists, the system is also as reliable as can be!
Do you bring a back up system?
Yes. I always bring a complete, separate, high quality Bose/Apple backup system. Just in case.
